enFocus seeks Financial Projects Director. The position works in our South Bend, Indiana and Elkhart, Indiana offices.
The position will plan, initiate, and manage our project-based financial services across our sector portfolios and is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients, planning and developing statements of work, and managing ongoing projects related to financial planning, forecasting and other financial activities across our client base. The position will be expected to provide oversight of the portfolio of Financial Service-related Projects across a diverse array of industries in our portfolio including: municipality, healthcare, education, manufacturing, and nonprofit. The Financial Projects Director will also support the management of the sector portfolios by developing and managing a set of core financial tools used for organizational decision making.
The position will guide a team of Project Managers who oversee Innovation Fellows that consist of engineers, analysts, and business backgrounds in delivering projects on-time and within budget. The position will report to the Vice President of Projects at enFocus and work collaboratively with the other team Directors across the project portfolios.
Position supervises 2 financial and investment analysts, 2 operations research analysts and 2 management analysts.
Position Description:
- Direct, coordinate and evaluate the activities of the civic innovation project portfolio related to financial services
- Supervise the development and delivery of financial forecasts, business plans, and investment models in support of client projects
- Act as a liaison between enFocus and regional civic innovation clients, developing statements of work, managing contractual engagements, and checking in regularly to monitor progress
- Direct hiring decisions and staff assignments to projects across the portfolio
- Assist in the development of Board level reporting and external presentations to clients and potential donors
- Oversee project quality assurance programs and support professional development activities for staff
- Lead the development and maintenance of internal financial tools for reporting and evaluation
- Monitor cash flow across portfolio activities on a monthly basis
- Develop and regularly monitor project-based and program revenue and expenditures
- Utilize financial knowledge across the industries of government, education, healthcare, nonprofit and manufacturing to improve the quality of solutions
- Utilize knowledge of software tools for accounting, forecasting and data visualization to coach others and improve the quality of services
- Support organizational decision making related to policy, systems and services
- Participating the further development of financial services as market needs shift and/or expand
Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
