What You’ll Do
The Talent Experience Fellow is a hybrid role designed for a current enFocus Fellow who has completed at least six months in the program and has about 6 months or more remaining in the Fellowship. This unique opportunity allows one Fellow to dedicate 50% of their time to shaping the next generation of enFocus talent through recruitment and internship program support, while continuing to lead a high-impact innovation project in the civic or industry space.
This role bridges strategic operations with on-the-ground innovation, helping to build the enFocus talent pipeline while contributing directly to regional impact. The ideal candidate has a passion for people, systems thinking, and making a lasting mark on enFocus’ culture and future.
Talent Recruitment (50%)

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse and high-quality pool of Fellows and interns.

Collaborate with the Vice President of Programs to identify hiring needs, update job descriptions, and define candidate profiles.

Lead outreach and sourcing efforts through digital platforms, college partnerships, and professional networks.

Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.

Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective Fellows and interns, building a compelling and inclusive candidate experience.

Manage all aspects of the enFocus summer internship program, from hiring through onboarding and engagement.

Represent enFocus at career fairs, information sessions, and recruitment events.

Track metrics and continuously improve recruitment systems and strategies.
Project Execution (50%)

Execute one innovation project within the Civic or Industry portfolio, in collaboration with a Project Manager.

Conduct discovery, design, and implementation work using enFocus' innovation methodology.

Coordinate with sponsors and stakeholders, deliver project updates, and contribute to measurable outcomes.

Present findings and solutions through clear documentation and engaging presentations.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.

Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

Strong decision-making skills

Proficient with Google Workspace or related software.

Job Type
Full-time. Salaried, non-exempt.
Location
This position is expected to be located in the South Bend-Elkhart region to work in-person at enFocus offices in South Bend and Elkhart, Indiana, or Niles, Michigan, and on-site at community sponsors; however, Project Managers will also have the flexibility to work remotely on occasion.
